Simply student lettings have a variety of Southampton student houses based in Highfield, Portswood, Inner Avenue, The Polygon and City centre, ideal for University of Southampton and Southampton Solent University students. All of our student houses are let for less than £79 per tenant per week.
All of our student houses Southampton have meet the required standards and regulations of Housing of Multiple occupation, thus meeting the University of Southampton and Solent University’s stringent Sassh standards. Each property has a Gas safety certificate, electrical safety certificate and HMO certification. All of student houses have been inspected and have certified for fire safety.
Portswood
University of Southampton students tend to prefer this location, being a short distance from the high street, local supermarkets (including Sainsbury’s and Waitrose), bars and restaurants. Roads such as Gordon Avenue and Alma Road are home to larger student houses, ranging in size from 6 – 10 Bedrooms, whilst Livingstone Road and Avenue Road tend to provide smaller accommodation from 4 – 7 bedroom properties.
Highfield
Highfield is a high demand area with many properties being let by other student letting agencies for more than £80.00 a week. Simply student lettings have smaller houses with 4 – 5 bedrooms available on Kitchener Road and Northcote Road, a short distance 5 – 10 minute walk from the University of Southampton Highfield campus.
Inner Avenue
Inner Avenue offers a quieter location for University of Southampton and Solent University students. The properties are a 10 – 15 minute walk from Southampton city centre whilst being a short distance from bars, restaurants and independent shops in Bedford Place. Simply student letting’s student houses here are based on Padwell Road, Middle Street, Dover Street and Castle Street ranging in size from 4 – 6 bedrooms.
The Polygon
The Polygon is both close to Southampton city centre and Bedford Place, Southampton Solent University students tend to live here, whilst Southampton University students from halls on Archers Road may also live here. Being predominantly student based properties are available on Milton Road, Wilton Avenue, Burlington Road, Newcombe Road, Coventry Road and Kenilworth Road to name a few. Houses tend to be of a 4 / 5 bedroom size, although there are a few larger 6 / 7 / 8 bedrooms houses.
City Centre
Simply student lettings offer a few Southampton city centre student houses although scattered around, these are close to City Centre amenities, bars and restaurants. In general this type of student accommodation tends to offer 4 Bedrooms and are a short walk to the Solent campus.
